Vineyards

Our vineyards are located in the dry coastal region of the Maule Valley , in the Santa Maria Mingre, Santa Rosa, Las Mercedes and Batuco estates. We also have vineyards in the Cañadilla estate located in the Colchagua Valley. The planted vineyards reach a total of 370 hectares of the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Carmenere, Malbec, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
The Maule Valley has excellent climatic and soil conditions for the cultivation of the vine, wich permits us to obtain expressive wines, Rich in aromas and fruity notes. Rainfall is priminent in winter followed by dry and sunny Summers, with large tempreature fluctuations between the day and night, with averages ranking from 16 to 30Cº.
The vineyards of Santa Maria de Mingre are of rocky and clayey soils, wich Grant elegante and mineral notes to our wines, and are scarcely 30km of the Pacific Ocean, a proximity that makes the grapes receive a coastal breeze that contribuyes to a slow and balanced ripening, allowing them to conserve better the aromas.
The soil of the vineyards of Las Mercedes es of clay and lime, with sandy layers, wich produces wines of great body and structure. In turn, the adjoining vineyard of Santa Rosa has Sandy soil, abundant in stones, offering wines with floral aromas. The vineyards of Santa Rosa and Las Mercedes are situated at only meters of the riverbank of the Maule River, benefiting from its chilly breeze.
