Mingre

Mingre reflects the devoted commitment of J. Bouchon in making genuine icon wine from the Maule Valley.
This wine is produced under the dedication and passion of the recognized French wine consultant, Patrick Valette (amongst others, former owner of chateau Pavie in Saint Emilion), who in personally concernid of every retail in the creation of Mingre.
Mingre is an elegante assemblage of the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Carmenere an Syrah, where each variety contribuyes unique elements to achieve the complexity and desired balance.
This wine is produced in limited quantities, with grapes cosen from our own vines with a very low yield of 4000 kilograms per hectare, that come from Santa Maria de Mingre estate and, in the case of the varieties Malbec and Syrah, from the Santa Rosa estate. Following fermentation, this wine is aged in French oak barrels for 14 months.
Mingre is characterized by its full body, complex structure and persistent finish, representing the most pure expresión of J. Bouchon wines.
